The Compliment

A true compliment is
Oft only uttered by a child
in complete innocence and awe

Indifference

I feel naught for thee
In your time of need, for unto me
I have forgiven your misdeeds

Baby Feet

Small feet, ten toes

Kicking left kicking right

Up and down it goes!

Laughter

It starts with tickles

widens into smiles

blurb blurb bubble bubble

ends in baby's chuckles

Spider Outside My Window

Shimmering in the sunlight
A silken web, she weaves, a trap
Perhaps, a maze.
